Today Google announced they are killing off Wave. Finally. Adobe Flash for mobile id dead. Finally.

I thought it was abut time I reviewed my year old Say Goodbye post to see what has changed since and what’s the state of play now. That post was (when written) going to be my last post, but – as I said things come and go in waves…

Google Earth is here to stay Still good
As is Wikipedia Still good – but needs money (and has a funny way of asking for it!)

Less about the OS, more about the Apps though iOS5 is good.

Twitter will grow a bit more, flatten out and dive Still going strong (but what proportion is good content?)

Facebook will get bigger but not forever mm, so so. Still has it’s uses for now.
It is to the naughties what Yahoo was to the nineties

A Modern Messaging System? Facebook messaging system – just annoys the c^#p out of me combining all your messages with one person in one stream. I avoid as far as possible.

Blogging is old hat (so why am I doing that?)  I agree.
Perhaps I should stop.  I tried. Maybe I will now.
